Work & proof

The best proof isn't the launch. It's what happened afterwards.

Anyone can show a nice screenshot. What matters is whether the thing kept working, whether the client stayed, and whether they came back. So that's how I've written these.

Where my clients are

My client ratings and job history are public on hiring platforms and go back to 2016. Several jobs have run for years and are still going. I'm happy to share the full record if you ask.

History

Where this way of working came from.

2018 – 2023 · Running my own agency

I ran Geeroute Systems and iAssist Africa — an agency building websites, course sites and everyday work tools for small businesses in the UK, US and Africa. Both are now closed, so the websites are gone.

  • Eloho Efemuai Academy (UK)
  • Joshua's Army (UK)
  • Super Working Mom (UK)
  • Etailer Luxury (US)
  • Clarssroom (UK)

Since 2023 · Working on my own

More recent clients, across AI, teaching and daily operations:

  • Texas Armored Direct

What I learned

The agency years showed me why most projects drift: messy handovers, hidden dependencies, and systems that fall apart the moment the owner steps away. That's why I now scope work clearly, write everything down, and build things that don't rely on one person.

I also wrote The Online Course Creators Bible, a guide for new creators on building and launching a course that actually sells.

Teaching customers

A training business that stopped answering the same email

The problem

Every new group of students asked the same forty questions. The founder was the help desk, the teacher and the sales team all at once.

What I built

A clear course site with step-by-step onboarding, a built-in help centre, and alerts that spotted stuck students before they emailed.

What happened next

A one-off build turned into a monthly working relationship, and the same client later asked me to build a second programme.

Everyday work, done by AI

Fifteen hours of weekly admin, gone

The problem

A team was copying the same details by hand between a form, a spreadsheet, a customer list and an invoicing tool. Nothing ever matched.

What I built

One clear flow that runs by itself from start to finish, with an AI helper sorting and drafting — plus written instructions so the team owns it.

What happened next

The team kept it running without me. That's the whole point. They came back a year later to fix the next thing.

Launching and growing

A launch that stopped losing sales at checkout

The problem

A confusing sign-up process and payment tools that didn't talk to each other meant people gave up before they ever got in.

What I built

A rebuilt website and sign-up path, with payments, customer list and emails joined up, plus one simple screen for the founder.

What happened next

The same founder came back for two more product launches.

In their words

Clients tend to say the same three things.

“Gilead has been an incredible person to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, value driven, detailed oriented, professional and just a great person to work with all around.”

Operations client · worked together nine months

“Gilead has been helpful, knowledgeable, and solution focused. He demonstrates attention to detail and is willing to offer solutions for effective delivery. He is also organized and focused on delivering.”

Training programme · still working together

“Quite knowledgeable and helpful through the entire process of us working together. Delivered as promised and I'm about to start on another project with him.”

Returning client · second project

A public record, not just a portfolio.

Most of my work since 2016 is listed publicly, with reviews you can read. If it helps you feel more confident, ask and I'll point you to the full history — including clients you can speak to.
